accuracy that can be produced by any operator Installation of a super-precise, pneumatic static pressure bearing on a conventional wheel spindle allows grinding ø200 optical glass to less than 1µm from dead flat, and to less than 1.5µm (approximately) at Rmax (using metal #800). In conventional loose grain machining, the operator’s skills have a major influence on product quality. However, our vertical surface precision grinding machine provides uniformity all by itself, based on our wealth of accumulated processing techniques. That gives this tool a machining accuracy that is extremely high, regardless of the operator’s skills. |
